Fundraisers
Voices for Kids, Inc sponsors fundraisers each year. CASAs may draw on the funds raised for special needs for the children they are assigned or just to provide something special that a child might not otherwise get or to participate in an activity.
Tulip Tuesday
Each year, in late March, the group takes orders for tulips, both bunches and pots. In 2008 this activity sold nearly $500 worth of tulips.
Apple Fest
Bloomfield's annual Apple Fest provides another opportunity for raising funds. CASAs pitch in to man a booth serving drinks and homemade goodies.
Teddy Bear Tea
On or near Valentine's Day, the Teddy Bear Tea provides a nice atmosphere for parents and children to get together for an afternoon snack. Thanks go to Bloomfield Dairy Queen, the Pepperoni Grill, and all the CASAs who make cakes and/or help out at the annual event. Tommy Teddy Bear comes out of hibernation for this annual activity.
